SAN JOSÉ
Upon your arrival in San José, Costa Rica and after passing through immigration you will be met by a member of the National Chamber of Tourism (CANATUR) who will provide you with a sticker with your name and Costa Rica Sun Tours logo that will facilitate our representative to identify you after you exit the airport building.
As you exit the airport terminal, look for a Costa Rica Sun Tours representative who will be waiting for you holding a sign with Costa Rica Sun Tours logo and your name on it. He/she will greet you and present you with land portion vouchers and transfer you to your hotel in San Jose.
Early this evening join your guide for an orientation briefing where you will have the opportunity to get an overview of the following days activities, ask questions to prepare for the trip.

ARENAL VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK
Early this morning meet your private bilingual host-driver and set off for the Sarapiqui area. Here you’ll be able to change to river cloths, be provided a safety speech, and then set off on a day full of adrenaline and fun adventure in the Sarapiqui River. This river offers many beautiful views of the forest and is a good place for wildlife viewing, during the tour your local guide will be looking for different animals hiding in the trees along the river, don´t miss them.
Our private bilingual host drivers are selected for their driving skills, knowledge of the country and orientation towards customer service. Another day full of adventure and fun will start with riding bikes along the rural roads near Arenal volcano and lake. The support van will be behind you during the tour just in case someone in the group feels tired and prefers to continue the tour seated in the van (they also bring a mechanic just in case a flat tire or anything else happens to one of the bikes).
During this adventure your local guide will be on the look for different wildlife that can be seen during the ride, like monkeys, sloths, birds, etc.
In the afternoon you’ll visit Mistico Park for another activity full of adrenaline and fun. RINCÓN DE LA VIEJA NATIONAL PARK
Following a hearty breakfast, your private host-driver will take you to your next destination in the Guanacaste area. En route you will stop at Mistico Park, still in Arenal area, where you will have the chance to observe the forest from a different perspective, you will walk different hanging bridges with different lengths, these bridges are located above the canopy of the forest. Your local guide will inform you about the different trees and wildlife you might see there.
After this tour you will return to the van to continue traveling to Rincon de la Vieja area in Guanacaste.

This morning you have one more chance to soak up the beautiful forest of Rincón de la Vieja area. Join your your private host-driver on a hike to explore some of the national park trails, he will be looking for some of the wildlife that lives in this forest so you can enjoy it and take pictures of them to take them back home along with all the other wonderful memories of your vacation trip.
After this last experience you will travel to one of the nicest beaches of Guanacaste, Tamarindo, the hotel we have selected for you is a beach front hotel also with a nice pool area to relax.
