Under the guidance of renowned adventure designers, the inspiring Rio Blanco canyon is the main stage for an awesome cable-based adventure, which includes: 15 platforms, Tarzan swing, and a challenge bridge.

After the adventure you will be ready for a delicious and relaxed lunch featuring typical Costa Rican dishes like Casado dish. You must try it!

This afternoon you will visit the thermal river. This mile long thermo-mineral gorge has dozens of hot pools that draw energy from deep magma flows –  a completely natural and inspiring setting, unlike any other place on the planet. There are soothing pools of varying temperatures, which are absolutely perfect for prolonged bathing; and just upstream from the spring, you can actually swim in cool water.

This evening dinner included at the hotel, the creative chef at the hotel is known for fresh and flavorful dishes.

River Tubing Adventure

Costa Rica Hidden Gems Tour: Dry Forest and Nosara Beach Day 3. After a hearty Costa Rican breakfast,  you will set off for the Rio Blanco Tubing tour with  modern equipment to help you safely traverse the river and get a real sense of the canyon and its magic.

There are parts of the canyon where the rock walls narrow and daylight is scarce. Echoes grow louder and if you remain quiet for a bit, you will find that you are not alone; birds, monkeys and, occasionally, some larger mammals will announce their presence. Look for the hot water spouts along the eastern rock walls.

After the adventure enjoy a delicious lunch  with local Costa Rican dishes.

This afternoon will be at leisure to enjoy the pool at the hotel. Don’t forget to try the fresh signature cocktails made with locally grown fruits.

Travel from forest to a spectacular beach and surf lesson

Costa Rica Hidden Gems Tour: Dry Forest and Nosara Beach Tour Day 4. After breakfast and check out, you set off on a private transfer (4 hours plus any stops along the way) to  the North Pacific cost  your base for the next three nights. On the coast in the northwest province of Guanacaste, Nosara is a beautiful beach and small community.  The beach is dominated by a long gently curving light sandy beach in a large bay for surfing.

Today, lunch is on your own – you really must try a local restaurant in the small town.

Spend the afternoon having a little fun in the sun learning to surf. On this 90-minute surf lesson, you’ll start with a 20-minute instruction on the beach focusing on safety, etiquette in the water and the basics of surfing. After explaining the basics of how to paddle correctly, pop up, positioning on the board, correct stance, and reading the waves, the instructor will have you practice on your boards on the beach just to get the overall feel. As soon as you get the hang of it, it’s time to get wet. The instructors will be with you the entire time offering pointers and tips to get you riding your first wave before you know it!  Have a lot of fun!

Tonight, dinner is on your own. You may enjoy a quiet evening meal at the hotel, maybe try a local beer!

Sea Stand Up Paddle tour 

Costa Rica Hidden Gems Tour: Dry Forest and Nosara Beach Tour Day 5. Today, after your breakfast at the hotel, we transfer you to our launch site for the Sea Stand Up Paddle Nosara.

This is a two-hour lesson, where we will pick you up and take you to one of our calmest and unique beaches so you can enjoy and learn how to use a stand up paddleboard.

It is absolutely awesome. Instructors will teach you how to stand up paddle in the beautiful waters of Guanacaste, this is an adventure that will leave you with lasting memories. They will provide a personalized instruction you, give you examples at the beach, correct posture, position of balance, techniques of paddled and surfing. After the explanation will be the time to get to the water. Before you know it, you’ll be gliding along like a pro!

This afternoon is at leisure. You might take a walk to explore the town, connect with locals, or just enjoy the pool.  Today, lunch and dinner are on your own,  you might try the bar and restaurant at the hotel which has been many things to many people: a nightlife spot, a community meeting place, and everything in between. A definite go-to experience among the best in Nosara, fresh food, inventive cocktails, and live music.

Sea Stand Up Paddle Nosara It is a sport really to get hooked up with, for its easy going adaptation from flat water to open ocean and actual waves. We focus in safety, ethics, paddle technique, and introduce to sup surf beginners. Certified instructors will provide as much knowledge as they can to acquire wave-catching experience in short time.

The beauty of two rivers that flow into the same place, Nosara river and Montana river, opens the way to the most colorful variety of birds and wildlife in this type of estuary, loaded with a lot of wildlife by its location within the shelter of Ostional. The tour guided by an expert in flora and fauna, will make your tour even more enjoyable by clarifying the different species of mangrove. It is an active kayaking adventure that is accessible to all.

Afternoon at leisure, perhaps you’ll explore the local beaches, Nosara is surrounded by plenty of beautiful beaches and touristic attractions. The most popular ones include Nosara beach, Pelada beach, Guiones beach, Garza beach, Azul beach, and Ostional National Refugee and others.
